About

I have been a Registered Nurse since 2009. I am also a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience practicing in Palliative Care, Hospice, and Primary Care. I am very passionate about end-of-life care and value ensuring that all beautiful souls, humans and animals, can transition to end of life in a peaceful, smooth, and meaningful way. I have decided to serve as an end-of-life doula to provide my clients and their families non-judgmental, emotional, spiritual, and more holistic support through this transition in their lives. Although my work as a doula does not involve prescribing medications, my experience in healthcare makes me a uniquely knowledgeable advocate for my clients and their families. Ideally, the support I offer is in addition to hospice care. The support I provide is catered to individual needs and preferences to facilitate companionship, comfort-focused care, and empowerment. WIth my healthcare background, I am familiar with hospital discharge processes and nursing facility placement. I am able to provide care coordination in these situations and many others to facilitate smooth transitions in care and ease this stressful aspect of healthcare for clients and families. I am also available to provide end of life support to pets in the event you are physically or emotionally unable to be present for their passing. Call or email to set up a time for a free consultation via telephone, in-person, or virtually to discuss your specific needs.
